The Tragically Hip to play Squamish Festival in August

Pin It Now!

The Tragically Hip, City and Colour, the Sheepdogs and Chromeo will be topping the bill at this year’s LIVE at Squamish festival.

The lineup was revealed Wednesday night during a special event at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom featuring B.C. bands Current Swell and The Matinee, who are on the festival’s bill alongside electro-pop songstress Lights, indie soul revelation Charles Bradley, Vancouver’s Mother Mother and The Pack a.d., American indie rockers the Airborne Toxic Event, and Canadian favourites Wintersleep, Kathleen Edwards, and Plants and Animals.

The festival, which takes place Aug. 24-26 at Hendrickson Field and Logger Sports Grounds in Squamish, is in its third year.

As it did last year, the event will feature multiple stages, an artisan village, a silent disco and fun for all ages.
